We have no clear explanation as to why a particular member won 3 consecutive cruise patterns … maybe we need to look into cosmic phenomena or conduct a study to identify whether bingo players with lucky charms have a higher bingo chance vs. those without lucky charms?

Well I for one think that this is just about the fairest bingo site online, even tho there are still quite a few same name winners on ere, but this is my viewpoint on it :
The thing is there are always gonna be players that can afford to max out on certain games if not all games, now I personaly dont believe that maxing out ensures that ur gonna win everytime, it just gives u more of a chance so to speak, so I dont max out, thats my choice.
The problem is some peeps are envious of the players that can afford to max out, and yer I know it can get frustrating when u see the same names sometimes, I hold my hands up and say that Im amongst the peeps that get frustrated at times lol but ya cant have a go at someone just coz they can afford more than others, thats their good fortune and shouldnt be blasted for it.
I think that Mania have done all they can to ensure fair play, certainly a lot more than other sites do, I mean they have even taken Tiggs up on her idea of having special nites in MH and Pound room where the max is gonna be 6 cards, I ask yer, what other site would do that, in fact what other site listens to their players like they do on ere ????
So, my advice to players that cant afford to max out is this : We cant all afford to max out on games but we all have our lucky streaks and unlucky streaks, so just enjoy when u are on a lucky roll and ride out the bad times, and when u see the same names come up a few times, just remember this : u wouldnt want their credit card bills !!

i second everything that has been said before by grumps gm’s and roomies. I, as everyone knows loves mania to pieces. All the gms are brilliant and i have told them so. The lovely people in the rooms have become my surrogate family. They are there for each other in good times and not so good. A helping hand is never far away. There has been a couple of times when I have been really down and without question have been lifted by the roomies with their chat and jokes. Please please dont ever change mania and most of all gm,s and roomies thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I got to agree - I must say like poppy - I spent days weeks months trying to find a site like mania - IT AINT OUT THERRE - Believe me I tried.
And yes - we DO Listed and we DO care - believe me like popps I found an awful lot of sites that dont and an awful lot of sites that dont meet n greet - I been sat in a chat room at 1 site for 40 minutes before anyone noticed I was there - mmm Hard to believe that init .

Thanks to all who posted replies. It’s always very nice to see so many good comments. I speak for the whole team when I say that we all greatly appreciate all the comments and ideas that come in daily. If it weren’t for your comments and ideas, we’d be hard pressed to find new ways to keep things interesting and exciting. I do have an idea of my own (I think it might be my first one…lol) that I am going to share with you all very soon. I would like to make one suggestion on this topic
At the moment, if we win less than £30 in the week after depositing we get an invite to the 2nd chance room, I think it would be good idea to raise that limit for an invite to 2nd chance bingo.
Last Saturday I deposited and since then I have won just over the £30 limit which means that I wont get an invite to 2nd chance bingo and yet the chances of me winning anymore are not likely as I seem to be on a real bad unlucky streak at moment, so I think that if the rules about how much u win after depositing were changed a bit then I think that would be fairer.
Grumps hun yr comments on maxing out is so totally correct, i agree with u on this subject, and yes poppy we do have the best gm on the net here. I agree with all comments that have been said on this topic, yes i have tried maxing too but hence it doesnt allways work so i stick to me 6 tickets.
I also agree with grumps on the second-chance room as i see that technically some of us are losing out, if 1 puts only £10.00 in and wins £30.00 or less they get invite, but whatabout those who deposit £50.00 and win lets say as an example £50.00, now mathematically this seems unfair.
I think maybe the maths needs to be re-considered as there are players out there who deposit several times a week and manage to win not even half of what they deposited yet they are left out, whereas the player who only deposit once a week and win less than £30.00 is compensated by second-chance room.

I totally agree with both Grumps and Posh. I also think that there should be a limit as to how much peeps can deposit in a week or a month.
I have not had much ‘luck’ for aaaaages and have run up a £5000 credit card bill! It didn’t seem to matter if I maxed, bought one card or whatever, I haven’t managed to break even!
I feel that there is a blip in the system because once you are an established player, you seem to win less often as if the system knows that you’re hooked! The newbies constantly win for a few weeks or months as I used to.
I love playing at Mania, luv the roomies and GM’s but frankly have run out of funds and have not been able to play for weeks now.

A SUGGESTION
In the past mania has given us the joy of partying in the party room, this is a very nice gesture, but on some occassions i have seen players moan because some peeps have won more than 1 and they havent, so can i suggest that maybe in future party games that once a player has won they should be ommitted from playing the rest of the session, this can then give peeps who have not won a chance to win, im pretty sure most peeps would be happy with just a win, i know i would be lol. I know this may be complicated as it means the tech guys would have to find a software which would elimate a peep automatically.
Can we also see more of the party room plzzzzzzzzzz
ohhh party night at least once a month sounds good to me, the trouble is , its costly and not everyone can win as we all know, as a GM i constantly see ppl come in chat room and expect to win straight away or they start moaning, where as i see more often ppl sit with me all day , as in land bingo you dont win everytime you go do you ?

To be honest I think it`s everyones choice how much they deposit . Mania or any other bingo site for that matter , is not responsible for how much people spend. That is everyones individual choice and I think its a bit unfair to say “put a limit on how much a player can depo in a month”. This is a gambling site - a great one at that lol- but at the end of the day we get loads of goodies and specials that other sites don`t offer. I`ve played my share of the scam ones and learnt a few lessons along the way- here is the only place I play now because it is fair . I dont think as just testing says that there is any sort of blip in the system once you`ve played here a while. It`s pure luck - I have won plenty on 1 or 2 cards and I been member here since around 2005. Just my opinion and dont want to offend anyone . Great site keep it up.
can i also say party room should be only for roomies, im not be nasty but i dont see why ooc should be invited cause they dont normally come into the bingo rooms, and party means partying with all the peeps who are here regularly in chat, were here most of the time very rarely ooc and i think that should be our privilage, the privilage of being roomies.

on the supject of ooc players have u stopped and thought that there may be reasons why peeps dont go in chat i for one find it very difficult to type, peeps do play when they are dissabled or with any other probs they may have, or it may be they just dont like peeps moaning
Oh yes some peeps are at work, some have problems yes i agree but come-on for those peeps who dont come into chat cause of moaning, maybe they should spend more time in chat and see these days us roomies dont moan, and if we do moan sometimes its for techinical reasons, we like to meet new roomies and chat to all newbies and oldies.

I would love to go ahead and schedule one full hour of special patterns…but to be fair to everyone, I’ll have to give this more thought so the change benefits all members. And regards your concern - I’m sorry you feel there is a blip in our software. I can assure you that’s not the case … our random number generator doesn’t favour newbies vs. regular members. If that was the case, we would never be in business today, as our software provider Parlay wouldn’t be able to license their winning bingo software.
As part of our commitment to transparency and being upfront with our members, I can have one of our techies run a special report to see the winning % of newbies vs. regular members. I’ll be more than happy to share this with you and the community on a special ManiaStu post mid-next week.

Yes I totally agree, nobody should be excluded from any benefits or treats that we get from Mania, wether they chat or not. I can see where posh was coming from when she suggested that the free roll parties should be for just the roomies, but in all fairness, every mania member should be entitled to join in the free roll parties because when all is said and done, the ooc’s pay to play just as much as we do
To be honest I feel slightly sorry for the ooc’s, just think wot they are missing out on by not being a roomie, they miss out on the friendship, love and scrummy bb’s that we earn from being a roomie, I have had times when I have had to play ooc and believe me I have hated every moment of it, I missed my roomies, oh and the GM’s I suppose

As for the comment made by one ooc about sum peeps being too shy or not being able to type, well there is no rule that says u have to chat once ur in the room, once u have said hello to the GM at least, then u are free to remain quiet untill u rec bb’s and then all is required of u is a simple ty to the GM, so why dont u try it sometime, u never know u may like being a roomie once u have tried it
But, as I said, it is entirely peeps choice if the prefer to play ooc and they shouldnt be blasted for it or even left out of the treats.

my suggestion although it doesnt happen often anyway but to make it fairer -
when you are playing chat game nabours - if you win you dont receive bbs. your roomies do which is great , after all you dont need the extra 1/2 bbs as youve just had a win, however when playing other games ie flipperty flop and unlucky pairs to make it a bit fairer on the poorer players who havent won ( me especially lol ) i think that if you’ve called flip flop on that game only and then had a win whilst that game is still in play i think you should forfeit your bbs and they go to another roomie who hasnt one the first, second or third part - after all you dont get bbs when playing nabours anyway. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE ??????

i get where ya comin from BUT some ppl that dont win too often rely on their bbs so i like the way it is now, when roomies are a bit flush and dont need the bbs, they win chat games and pass them to oher roomies, this way it up to roomies, personal choice, cos i sure wouldnt like to take ya bbs away just cos ya won on bingo,but if ya win a cg you can pass ur bb to a player in room so long as they have funded in last 30 days and have at least 1 card playing

It is a nice idea annie but unfortunately it would be a problem to execute as the GMs credit BBs on chat games like flip flop as soon as it has been called. The reason we have Nabours then numbers games alternating is so that every one has a fair chance to win some BB’s. As Midgey and Poppy have said you are free to donate your BB’s to another player BEFORE the GM has credited them and the player you are donating to is eligible for them.

Hi Wistira, it was great hearing from you and thanks for the suggestion. Each time a team member or one of our loyal members shares an idea with us, we ask ourselves some questions. And it was no different with this one.
Here are some questions, I asked myself: how would free roll daily games add to the overall excitement at Mania? Would such an event fit with our goal of providing our members a fair shot at shouting bingo? How much will the free games cost us? And finally if we only had a £4,800 (approx cost of 1hr free games at 20 pounds x 30 days), would it be wise to spend the money on a free roll or on something else?
So as you can see, when we consider a change or addition, we throw the suggestion into our question-meter : ) and see if the outcome actually supports our goal and fits in with our promise of fair play.
I would love to say YES to every suggestion that comes in from our members, but the reality is that’s sometimes not possible. With this suggestion, although we can’t afford to have a free roll daily, we can have free roll special sessions on special days for our members. One such free roll will be included in our upcoming room Party Room (more on this room in a future post).
Grumps – as promised I gave your suggestion some well deserved thought. Like I said earlier, we would love to say YES to all of our member’s suggestion, but in reality that’s very difficult to do. I’m sorry, but we can’t apply your suggestion.
By implementing more games in the evening, we would shift the “fair-play” balance in favour of the evening members and that would be unfair to the morning/day members.
Currently, to ensure we offer fair play, we have an equal number of games from 9am to 1am daily (approx. 1 per hour). And as we near the middle or end of the special, we will be hosting special extra hammer patterns.
Thank u Stu for giving my idea sum thought, however I guess that means that the comps that Mania run are not really suited to those who work then, ah well never mind, thank u anyways xxxx

With special games - not played in any of other rooms - perhaps romoies could help out with game suggestions for room - or even a Quiz nite every friday - different themed quiz every week ???

Just one suggetion. Regarding Chat games in the Fair & Square Room. At present, you can only win chat game if you are a bingo winner. Could we have chat games that non-winners can get bbs on please?
I love the F & S room, but sometimes I dont play in there if I only have a small amount in my account, as I feel that at least in the other rooms, I have a chance at winning bbs to build up my account, even if I dont have a bingo win. maybe there are more players who feel the same?

can i make suggestion for fair and square, make it a torney room so players pick numbers and points r added up and top 5 winners at end of 2 hours will win bb’s then it is not done on wins. then i think its fair for all.
other thing you can’t make mania much better, i been searching for a new home for months now since i became a gm and i still not settle any where, as no where is as good as and as friendly as mania. Mania is my second home and always will be. Everyone on site is like one big family and thats what i love. love u roomies, no go and nick poppy’s choccy for me.

Whilst planning the chat games for Fair and Square, I investigated many different formats to try and come up with chat games that were as fair as the room itself. Due to the way the Fair and Square room works, the current format of chat games (ie winner based) are the only games that can be played fairly in this room. Be assured that I am always on the lookout for ways to improve things in chat.

the site is down tonight so i have taken this opportunity to have a look at the sites i left behind. ( had no intention of depositing in any of them just wanted to see what they were like now. ) i couldnt believe the difference in mania to them. in one room there was about 35 people playing for 58p a line 58p for 2 lines and 10.00 a full house. are these people mad ???? have they not heard of bingomania? i couldnt believe my eyes.
my old main site which i left because it became too busy and i was never winning cos too many people were playing ( approx 150 peeps per game ) was down to about 50 people playing for peanuts. no more than about 20 pound. no wonder more and more people are joining mania if thats the competition out there.
so i just wanted to say keep up the good work mania and i for one definately wont be going elsewhere.

Stuart could we not have a blog for us roomies, one where we can exchange ideas, post our thoughs for the day and so on, maybe a live blog, it would be nice to have somewhere where we can post personal thoughs and opinion, exchange reciepts and chat about what we read in the newspaper. I know we do this in chat, but lately i can see chat is getting busier and something i find myself lost in the room lol, cant keep up so maybe a blog out of chat could benefit alot of us including ooc.
