I would like to suggest, that maybe you could employ someone from the uk to work uk hours, as sometimes I have had to wait hours for a reply from support cause as u know the time zones are hours behind us.
Also maybe a uk based employee can start on withdrawals from 10am, this could ease up alot of the stress from peeps waiting for withdrawals to be done b4 they can play again, now I know this means extra cost but maybe they could be employed to work just on withdrawal days and maybe just part-time say 10am till 3pm uk time, this also ensures that support tickets are answered in the time zone that you state 10-30mins, as I know several times I have had to wait much longer than this.

anniesangelx: as part of our upcoming new specials, we had to make some adjustments to the games that were not performing well and start making room for new specials that will be enjoyed by everyone. How do we asses if a game is performing well? We have a very simple rule: “are members playing this game more in comparison to other games?”
Unfortunately the “50 and 100 FIXED POT 1 LINE 2 LINE AND FULL HOUSE GAMES” haven’t been performing well. I personally like these special games but feel they deserve to be played during peak times. With that said, we’re working on a new Friday special. It’s slightly different than what we’ve done before and I think you and your fellow roomies will enjoy it. So stay tuned to the Mania blog, because by Monday evening, I will have full details for everyone.

Within My Mania, one of the many features will be a community forum — here you will be able to start and participate in many different threads.

Finesse: although our support team is based in our Antigua office, we offer 24 hour support. So the time for receiving a reply from us shouldn’t be a question based on different time zones. I know our support team works really hard to make sure you’re answers and questions are answered promptly. I would like to make a suggestion for those peeps that say they have waited longer than 30 mins for a reply to their help ticket……….. I personally have never had to wait longer than 20 mins or so for a reply to any tik that I have put in, maybe I have been lucky but I think that a lot of peeps wait until they can see that their ticket says closed, unfortunately the system can be a bit slow in updating the status of a ticket and more often than not u will find that ur ticket has been replied to even tho it still has a status of new, so I would like to suggest that 20 mins after putting a ticket in that peeps go in and view it even if it still says new coz I think u will find that it has in fact been replied to more often than not………………just an idea guys but it works for me coz quite often I have viewed a ticket that says new but in fact it has been replied to.

You need to have withdrawals going back to cards within 24 hours, most sites do. I asked to withdraw on a monday was approved on the wednesday, in neteller saturday and in bank by wednesday. But 10 days is too long, it is my money after all. Should be 3 working days. This is a great site but withdrawals let it down big time as when its pending we cant deposit again.
to add to what mewinplease is saying - I would also say we should be able to have any withdrawals credited back to our bank cards immediately - at present as I dont have neteller I have to wait 3 weeks to receive a cheque, pay that into the bank and then wait until it is cleared to use the cash.
Also, it would be helpful if we could be allowed to keep bingo bonus bucks when making a withdrawal, after all we are given them for winning chat games and in special promotions and for depositing, so we should be able to keep them when we withdraw, especially if we dont withdraw all the cash we have in our accounts.

just little note how do you get in 2nd chance room. does it depend on your weekly deposits or your weekly loses cos had a few of them recently. and if you play on slots and win but dont win on bingo does this cancel out 2nd chance room
I totally agree with u both on the subject of BB’s lost when we withdraw, this is a fantastic site and the only site I play on now, but I have to say that I have played on most of the other sites out there in my time and this is the only site I know that penalises u for withdrawing ur winnings. I think it only fair that we lose our money bonus that we get wen we depo but I think we should be allowed to keep the bbs that we win in chat room.
ALL4ONE……… I was speaking to TT on this subject today and she explained that the basis for the 2nd chance room goes from Sunday to Saturday, and in that week however much u deposit, if u win less than 30 pounds back during the week u get an invite to the 2nd chance room the following week. So, if for example u deposit say 20 pounds between Sunday and Saturday and win less than 30 pounds back during that time, u qualify for an invite.
I think I have got that right lol, however Im sure that TT will step in and correct me if I have got it wrong lol, I hope that helps u hun, gl with ur bingo

Christmas draw of 1,000 is a great idea peeps, but i would rather see 10 happy peeps not 1, so i would suggest 10 prizes of 100, but thats just my personal opinion.
Eva grace your suggestion is good 1 for now and 1 for Oct is good, but maybe is should be done in Oct and Nov, andddddd i say a big AND, maybe winners from Oct should be ommitted for Nov draw this way we could have 20 happy peeps, after all life is happier when we share.

Yes grumps your right there, you must spend a min of £10 and win £30 or less to qualify, £10 means cash not bbs, and any win from slots is not counted so I was told from support.

Not much to suggest I think the above has covered it and I dont want to sound ungrateful as lets face it BB and comps etc are extras after all and not obligatory (is that a real word lol???).
I do like the idea of you not loosing your BB’s though, I know they are an extra you give us but I am sure I am not the only one who thinks this but I only withdraw once every blue moon I think I have withdrawn twice in two years, the whole point of playing bingo is the hope you win something and sometimes it puts you off withdrawing especially on the 150% days as it makes the withdrawel not worth while with the amount you lose in BB’s. This is the fairest site around and like so many others on here have played on a few but it just seems this practise is in place to put you off withdrawing and spening all your winnings.
My only suggestion if it has not already been covered is I would prefer the jackpot numbers going up say instead of winning on 46 numbers say 50. I know the JP will be smaller but it means more chances of us winning instead of a large lump going to one person. Dont get me wrong I dont begrudge anyone winning and wd to all that has won a JP but it is there to be won and can be won but would be nicer in IMO if we had a better chance of us mere mortals winning it lol. We all help bump it up so would be fairer if there was a better chance of more of us winning it.
I more thing on the subject of bbs this is a hard 1, simply because lets assume I withdraw my winnings and dont lose my bbs I have lets suppose again £100 bbs left to play with, I win again, I withdraw again and get to keep my bbs, now if I keep doing this over several days, mania would be out of business, withdrawals would be a never ending story, bbs are a bonus which mania gives us.
Maybe we could get to keep our bbs if we dont withdraw all our cash, lets say I have £200 cash and £200 bbs i want to withdraw £150 cash, leaving myself £50 cash to play with, and because i never withdrew all my cash my bbs should be matched to the cash i have left. This seems a fairer option.

As i can’t play at mania, in the last 6 months i have looked for another site to play. Well what can i say, i must have tried every uk site on net. some give u a bonus when u deposit some u can win bb’s in chat if u r lucky enough. most have baby jp’s or xtra huge ones with hundreds of peeps after them. The rules on bb’s and withdrawing r complicated and u r lucky if u can make a withdrawal.
My suggestion is leave Mania as it is. It is by far superior to all sites on the net and very fair to all players in every aspect. So u r losing a few bb’s when u cash out, Well they are unlimited to win in chat again and u get them when you deposit, so to be honest i would be happy to lose bb’s to make a cash out. wouldn’t u be. OH i also forgot u get a loyalty bonus every month what other site does that.

As for the bbs issue, I guess there are 2 sides to this issue, I personally think that it is fair enough that we lose any bonus monies when we withdraw, but I dont think it is fair that we have to lose our chat game bbs when we withdraw, coz after all we do win them by playing the chat games, and when u win summat ya dont expect to have it taken off of ya just because ya have dared to withdraw yer winnings lol, after all its not as tho we can withdraw the bbs is it, they can only be used to play bingo with, which is fair enough, so I dont see why we cant be allowed to keep our chat games bbs when we withdraw.
I can see where Phe is coming from with what she says, she is quite rite, this site does give us far more than any other site out there gives its players, but these days all the online bingo sites play chat games and give ya bbs so it can hardly be classed as a privilege really, as it is a recognised feature of bingo sites now and I for one would expect any bingo site that I played on to have this feature, so i think it would be a little bit fairer if we could keep at least some of our chat game bbs when we withdraw.

Just wanted to add to the bbs issue - I agree that any bbs gained via deposting should be ‘lost’ but also agree if they have been won in chat they should be able to be kept.
At the end of the day, if you manage to win enough to withdrawal, more often than not you can afford to lose them, but hey ho………
Also, it would be great if we could have our withdrawals back onto the card we play with. Not that it affects me as I can never win enough to withdrawal, but this is the only site i know of that does not offer that facility.

Regarding BBs……. i seem to remember that mania had to change rules few years back cause ppl could withdraw and keep bbs. They were then able to keep playing for yonks just on bbs. Boy did that change go down well!!!! But it was necessary, and I dont think mania would want to go there again!

Winowoosy67: We would love too open the Pound room earlier, the only drawback right now is that we haven’t seen high volume around the current 4pm time. We can certainly try opening the room a couple of hours earlier on special days, like Fridays and Saturdays.
I’ll keep your suggestion in mind when we tweak our rooms in a few weeks.

All4one: great question and I’ll be the first to admit, we haven’t done a great job of posting the 2nd chance room details for you on our website. We will setup a 2nd chance room with all the details. Hopefully by mid-next week we could have this up.
To answer your question: we’ve come up with the following criteria:
Any member that deposits a minimum £10 AND wagers a minimum £10 AND wins less than £30 from Sunday to Saturday, qualifies for 2nd chance.
We know the formula isn’t perfect, but I think it gives more of our members the opportunity to qualify. We’ve got some ideas to make it better. And if you have any suggestions, would love to hear them. Thx.
Hiya Helda: great to see you joining the discussions. Regards loosing BBs during withdrawal, this is one of those ‘policies’ (don’t like to use that word often) that’s very sensitive. Because from a business stand point, we wouldn’t be able to keep our site open for too long if we allowed players to deposit, get bonus, request their deposit back and play with their bonus … You can see we won’t be along for too long now : )
Your 2nd suggestion – I always thought 46 was a fair number … what’s the average on other bingo sites? If ours is too low, we can certainly consider an alternative – like creating a special room with quickie patterns and an extended PJ winning number.

The average on other sites is roughly 41/42 for JP - but then they are sites that have lots more players on them.
IE - for bingo jp of 41 - on average you have about 400 peeps playing - loads more.
I think it would be good to raise it, to what I am not sure though - 48/50?

Fraggle2007: 41/42 is very low and 400 players per game, ouch, those are some bad odds. Wow, the GMs in those rooms must have their hands full … now with regards raising our JP calls from 46 to 48/50: I think by raising the PJ call, that would mean our prizes would be smaller and will not be as exciting as bigger JPs.
We like to think of BingoMania as the little site with biggie bingo prizes – a place where you receive exceptional service and great odds at shouting bingo to big prizes. If we were to raise our PJ calls, than we would only be known as a little site with little prizes : ) … now, wouldn’t you rather play at a bingo site that is small and can provide you great odds at winning biggie prizes?

please please please keep the mini slots out of the bingo games. if we want to play slots they are already easily accessible. If we have mini slots in the bingo rooms they will end up eating into money we can use for bingo. I dont want to see that happen but I may be in a minority. However, I will wait and see what happens.

Was really annoyed that yet again the site crashed yesterday - again when the money is much better.
Then I have just read about the mini slots - NOOOOOOOOO
This is really not needed, the slots are easy to get to, they are also a gambler’s nightmare and if you make it that when you are watching bingo you can gamble more away on slots people are going to be very skint quickly and will not be able to afford to play bingo anymore.
I like 99% of all ideas, but not this one.
I agree keep the bingo rooms as bingo rooms only, no slots. I do play the slots but only when i have won enough money from winning on bingo. They are easy to access as it is without placing them under our noses. I realise the reason for doing it that the site would make more money, but I only have a certain amount to spend as it is, so you would not get more from me. I would just spend less time here each week.

6 card max - I forgot — oops … I’ll review the 6 card max sessions in the Madhouse with Jordan and see if it makes sense to run the same promo in the Pound. As you know, the lower the card number, the lower the wagering and that means lower game pots. Currently, the Pound room is set at 10 card max on all games, so bringing it lower might compromise the game pots. But I’ll give it a closer look.
Daily fixed pots in Pound - Hopefully in the near future – but I think the new specials we’re planning here at Bingo HQ will turn out to be more popular. Right after the upgrade we will start rolling out new daily and weekly specials that are as fun as any other promo we’ve had before.
2nd chance room - Originally our 2nd chance was based on no ones. Then we re-introduced it for any member that wins less than 30 pounds per week. The whole idea behind 2nd chance is just that, to give those members that had very little wins a 2nd chance to turn their luck around and have some fun. The higher we raise the win limit, the more members qualify, which will make it harder for members to win a bingo in 2nd chance. It’s a difficult one … I’ll admit the 2nd chance isn’t perfect, but will keep fine tuning at ever opportunity.
I’m not sure about this one – GM Tartanterror would know better. Have you asked her?

I totally agree, I have not played for a while and deposited at 11.35pm, purchased my tickets and the site went down I can only assume that I have lost my money, I will use the rest of my money when the site is working but I won’t be playing on here again, it’s a shame because I think it’s the best bingo site around, but with all the problems and no emails of warning etc, it really lets it down badly. It seems to me that the bosses at this site don’t want me to play, they just want me to sign up and deposit.
There was a warning posted in all chat rooms in regards to the downtime. Unfortunately we cannot control technical problems and dont know when they are going to arise so you were all warned that the site was going down as soon as we knew about it. I can assure you no one is tryin to stop you playing we are doing our best to get the site running as best as it can be.

This site is great and I appreciate that some difficulties cannot be forseen, but it is a regular event.
I again am one who deposited yesterday and again the site went down. FOr me it was not too bad as I ended up watching the last part of Murphy’s Law instead of recording it,but it is a bit much that this is not a one off event !!!!

Can i also point out that yesterday, there was some confusion about deposits.
On the front page it said it was a particular day ( i cannot remember what day !!) Right above that was a 150% deposit day, which led myself and others to believe that if we deposited on a Sunday we would get the 150%
This was not the case though!!!!!!

I was told today that I should have had a birthday bonus last month, I sent a ticket, had £20 in bbs deposited in half and hour, and about an hour later I also had more bbs for the 150% i should have received on my birthday top up.

Stuart as for raising the jp number, now I do play elsewhere where it is much smaller than mania as this site has only been up and running not too long around six months i think, but last week their jp went twice 1st time was well over 1K and second time just under, now considering mania has much more players than this other site I think that raising the number for pjp isnt such a bad idea, as even if pjp went once a week, it would still be a nice sum of money, these peeps are well chuffed when they win pjp as any other peep would be whether is was 1k or 10k its always a bonus to win when playing bingo.

Grumps mania couldnt never be like any other site, it is in a league of its own, but believe it or not the pjp on the other site is set at 49 calls, which is not far from 46 here and it does work.
Saying that, was only a suggesstion as I like mania as it is, the bonuses here are unlike other sites we are well spolit here. Here is the only place where bbs are easy to win too. Loyalty bonus are the best and deposit bonus are exceptional.
Hi Denni1 – ty for your comment. Opening the Fair N’ Square room for longer hours seems to be a popular request. We would love to open the room for longer hours but the number of players per game seems to be very low right now – I think before extending the room hours, we need to bring more excitement to the room and we’ve got some good ideas that will just do that. Once we’ve got the room buzzin’ with energy, you’ll see more of the Fair N’ Square.

I’m not sure how popular this would be, but we can certainly give it a shot. Until you have a better server (sorry rusty) there is no point in hoping he will manage when he cannot.
As I have just replied to Roomraider on another topic, at the end of hte day this site is great, but when (for trying to make it better for the maniacs) it ends up letting down peeps who have really looked forward to their better money bingo night, you end up not pleasing many and it leaves you with egg on your face.
And this is only because you are trying to make it better for us too - we all know that, but that just makes it the more disappointing.
Anyway keep up the good work, party night is a great idea, just not until you have better servers.

Stu - we really need to get some more GM’s. They do a fantastic job and are lovely, but are only human.
Whenever someone is ill whilst another is on holiday, there always ends up being immense pressure for the GM on a day off to come back in and cover.
IF as is sometimes the case, they are unavailable then you have no cover and poor Poppy this morning was trying to cover 2 rooms - a lot of stress.
Sooooooo please get some more fantastic GM’s to give our already excellant GM’s some space.

Firstly, I would like to reiterate that we have no vacancies at the present time.
Secondly, I have a long list of people who have applied for vacanices in the past who would receive preferential consideration for any future vacancies.
Thirdly and most importantly, the choice of candidates for GM positions is not open to voting, democracy or nomination by anyone.

Hi Grumps: thanks for bringing my attention to your earlier suggestion on the 150% bonus special.
To be honest, any question regards bonuses are always a sensitive topic - from my standpoint, it’s always a difficult decision which may or may not benefit some of our members. At BingoMania, we always do our best to ensure our decisions benefit all of our members and occasionally, some decisions that are made, do not : (
For a few months we had no minimum deposit on the 150% bonus special, and just recently we’ve updated the minimum to 20 pounds. I can understand how the minimum amount might not be advantageous to all of our members.
There are only a small number of UK bingo sites that offer deposit bonuses and very few offer the high value bonuses like we do. We have a very generous daily deposit of minimum 50% which all of our members can take advantage of. And on our special days to further reward our members, we award 150%. Now, unfortunately from an operation standpoint, the more bonuses we award the more the house loses. To ensure we break even, we’ve had to seriously consider placing a minimum deposit requirement on the special 150% bonus days.
For the next remaining weeks in 2007, I’ll monitor the overall impact of minimum deposit amount vs. no minimum. If we can afford the bonus special without a minimum in 2008, I’ll remove it.
I’ll keep you posted and thanks for your suggestion!
If people can afford £10 a week but want the bonus, why not put on £20 a fortnight?! That way you are getting the bonus but still only spending the equivelant of £10 a week… or even, put on £50 every 5 weeks and get the extra bonus too?!

Stuart - sorry for putting this on here but after getting now where with support I feel there is no option. Yesterday I put quite a lot of money on the gorgeous george game. Normally on five line games you get paid out on just 3 symbols but this was not ahppening on this game which I thought was strange. When I got four symbols in a line and nothing was paid I asked someone who advised me to check the pay table. I did this and realised it should have been paying out on the 3 symbols.
I rang support and was adv. to put in a ticker which I did and then rang back to be told the technical team were investigating. I see my account was credit with £ 15.00 for one game only. I rang to ask why and was told becaouse I did not have every individual game ID there was nothing that could be done, I was also told the technical team were in training yesterday so this was not being investigated yesterday as I was lead to believe.
I am not going to state how much money I lost but it was a lot and when you play in good faith you dont expect this to happen.
I am advising people if you play slots to always check the pay tables before hand so you know for definate when there is a problem.
I thought this was all about fair play, if you play you have to expect to lose but not in this way. I for one will not ne playing again.

Thank you for replying you are about the only one that takes issues seriousley within customer supprt (not inc. GM’s of course - they fab).
As you can probably see from y account I have still been playing on the whole I love thise site and the gm’s so why leave?
The reason I have not contacted Mark as he does not appear to ant to discuss the issues I have raised. As previousley said I had a problem with one of the slot games. When I rang to raise the issue I was adv. to submit a ticket and I rang to confirm it had been received and I was told they techy team were looking into it.
When I rang the next day after hearing nothing I was told techy team not yet looked at it as they were in training that day, when I spoke to the lady she also adv. me that as I did not have every game ID there was nothing that could be done. I was hocked at this and asked who you were regulated by and she spoke over me each time I asked (3 times) and when I stated are you refusing to tell me she gave me the name and when I asked how do I contact them was adv to search the internet. She then passed me onto someone else who said you could infact do something and would get some one to look into it.
I then got a tciket stating £15.00 had been credited to my account for the one specific game I did have the id for. I asked what about the other games and thats when you suggested I contact Mark.
In the meantime I send two emails asking for the manager to look into this whuich go unresponded to. I receive an email from nicole which I reply to which again goes unresponded to.
I speak to Mark eventually and he says I will get back to you today and heard nothing. He said he sent an email to which I never received. He then stated that the £15.00 credit was incorrect and I wwas betting wrong on the game. You can see why I lost faith in what he was saying as I pointed out to him everyperson I have spoken to has given me contradictory information and he said I can not speak for them people as it was not me you had the conversation with. This is why I got the impression he did not want to discuss it.
Lets just say for arguments sake I did play the whole game incorrectly the customer support has been really bad. I have never had a problem with this site in all the years I have played on here.
Please dont think I am pulling site down I am not and only putting this here as you suggested. I love this site, the games, the people and especially the GM’s which do a fab, fab job but as I said before I have never been spoken to as rude in my life the way support spoke to me and it has made me lose confidence and would put me off contacting them ever again.
I really hope you look into this stuart as it is a very poor reflection on a VERY GOOD site.

Genie, I agree with u there hun, yer ok some may say that the cg’s and bb’s are a privelege and that we get more than wot other sites give out, and I agree but I also think that in the pound room we should get 3 bb’s for a cg coz that reflects the cost of the cards more accurately.

Pops I have to say that although I initially agreed with Genies idea of raising the bbs, when I think of it the way u are thinking about it I have to say that I think that just for once u may be right lol, this site does give away far more bb’s than any other site so in all fairness it prob wouldnt be right for us to expect the bb’s to be raised for the pound room

I think that as there are a lot given away in general that the present system works well.
I have been on loads of sites and most of them are quite ‘tight’ with bonuses (IF ANY) and hardly any offer the opportunity to get as many as mania does.
To be honest with you i dont normally like to have bbs not that i get many as i dont go in the rooms all day.

This actually happened a few weeks ago right here in England . It was early evening and a young lady stopped to get petrol.
She filled her tank and walked into the store to pay for her petrol. The cashier told her ‘Don’t pay for your petrol yet…..walk around the store for a while and act as if you’re picking up some other things to buy.
A man just got into the back of your car. I’ve called the police and they’re on their way’. When the police arrived, they found the man in the back seat of the girl’s car and asked him what he was doing. He replied, he was joining a gang and the initiation to join is to kidnap a woman and bring her back to the gang to be raped by every member of the gang. If the woman was still alive by the time they finish with her then they let her go.
According to the police that night, there is a new gang forming here originating from London. The scary part of this is because the guy didn’t have a weapon on him. The police could only charge him with trespassing…. He’s back on the street and free to try again.

Seems to me that the rules for passing of BBS in the first place should have been explained properly - as I understood it (and am sure someone will put me straight) Was/IS that If BBS can only be donated to 1. a player that is eligible, 2. Is in chat.

BBS can’t be passed to someone who also claims or who has already claimed chat in same game
SO, As I understand it - If 1st person to claim chat passes bbs to - FRED - then FRED claims Chat - FRED can not be given bbs - so either the first lot of BBS claimed - are kept by the claimant or passed to someone else, OR - the second person to claim (FRED) has to pass his bbs or his claim is NULL and VOID

Let me just say this, no names have been mentioned, but just seems a bit iffy to me that it gets mentioned that its not good to pass bbs to fellow players, and then a decition is suddenly made out of the blue to stop bbs being passed to other players, but other than this, some players do take it upon themselves to tell gms how to do there job, and it does get embarrassing sometimes to watch this, gms do a great job, and do let things go which is sometimes seen as a weekness, and jumped on, i have seen this, but my point is that i for 1 want to be able to give my friends and fellow players bbs if they are short and want them, my money, my choice, and i for the life of me cant see why i cant, what harm is it doing, and it keeps players playing, rooms busy and money spent, 3 goods reasons for it to be continued, i think a lot of players will fall by the wayside and this i think is not good, if enough ppl have there say n this matter in blog, and talk instead of watch, we might just swing it back in the favour of the wants, and not the dont wants. level playing field is all that is needed, we have that now, not too many problems, and most minor, this i think will be a very very big bubble burst, we will see. all the best. pete…..
i agree with you rough hun there was no mention of names and no mention of bb donations being stopped till last night when saffysaid she was gonna get it stopped because of the incident. and to lolly you were positively rude to saffy last night hun weather you remember that or not you were and she deserves an almighty apology for it.i wasn’t playing but my mum was and i was sat next to her and read everything that went off so not horse whispers from me you were rude. but enough said i am not blaming lolly for what has happened just sad that everything is changing on this site over lastfew months i don’t see why anything has to be changed at all.the site was perfectly fine b4 everything got changed
I have passed my bbs on to other peeps, I usally do it because these people have been funny and witty in chat and made playing here on mania even more of a pleasure. Now all I can look forward to is people so intent on winning BBs that the conversations dry up, & that mania looses its community spirit. Perhaps mania hitting the big time was the end of the ‘friendly bingo community’ .

I have obviously missed what has happened and when.
I had the email newsletter that said they were stopping the passing of BB’s/.
I understand it canbe a nightmare but to be honest the fact that this site DID pass them was one of th e reasons I made sure i played on this one - usually I give them away, but there have been times that i have received them off others and I have been very grateful.
I also agree with Nik - you will find so many peeps wanting to win bb’s that chat will run dry - i know that i do it to others when i am waiting for one number and i am skint !!!!
It is a shame that some nastiness has come out of it though, i have read the blog as i was not there (lol grumps thought we were weekends only pmsl!!) and bottomw line of it is the mania has made some changes.
I do not see why, I so try to understand it can be difficult for the GM’s - who as we ALL agree do an exc job (where are my 200 bbs as promised…? oooops) but at the end of the day this is a management decision not a player asking for it.
One player or even a few would not get a decision that quickly made and put in place would they????

First of all, let me make it perfectly clear that the decision to stop donating BB’s to other players was not taken as a consequence of the incident to which you are all referring. This decision was taken between myself and Stuart and it will not be reversed by players complaining in public or threatening to leave the site. I have reviewed the chat logs from the Pound on Wednesday night and I agree that GM Sapphire correctly awarded BB’s in accordance with the guidelines which had been laid down.
We believe that BingoMania should first and foremost be about community and bingo however, a number of players clearly place too much emphasis on BB’s.
BB’s are awarded to players who make regular deposits as a way of thanking them for their support. Far too many players rely on winning BB’s instead of depositing in their account and whilst I realise that some are not able to deposit as much or as often as others, BBs are not meant as an alternative to players depositing. Some players even state quite openly in chat that they are playing purely to win BB’s so that they can avoid depositing which is, quite frankly, abusing our generosity.
Secondly, I would like to remind you all, that the GM on duty in the chat room is the one who decides to whom BB’s should be given. Sometimes it appears that BBs should go to one player and they are given instead to another. Bear in mind that this may be because the player has no cards for the game, is ineligible for BB’s for one reason or another or simply because the GM has made a mistake. Whilst all the GMs do a good job I realise that they are not infallible and if any player feels that a genuine mistake has been made this should be POLITELY brought to the attention of the GM who then can rectify the mistake. Contrary to how it may appear from a players point of view, the role of a GM is one which is very involved and can at times be difficult. The GMs must be treated with respect at all times and their decisions are final. Please treat the GMs and other players in the same way that you yourself would wish to be treated.
Thirdly, let me remind you all that complaining in chat is NOT permitted. If you feel that you have a genuine complaint this should first be raised with the GM on duty. If for any reason they are unable to deal with the complaint then a help desk ticket should be submitted or I can be emailed directly. Also please remember that this blog is not provided as a means of starting or continuing arguments, but as a way of bringing our community together.
Thank you for your attention in this matter. I trust that we can all go back to being a friendly community-spirited site with no further arguments either in chat or on the blog.

can i just add we who wrote our opinions on the blog have not and will state again NOT started a witch hunt. i was giving my views on the whole thing as unfair. maybe this wasnt anything to do with 1 player who can i add in the first place didnt mention any names, but after 1 big row it all gets stopped. little suspicious maybe. i have been here a year now and think this is a gr8 site. the gms are fantastic the roomies friendly apart from the odd few AND NOTHING to do with any player the other nite may i add. the donation of bbs should be allowed and im saying this not because ppl donate em to me all the time. yes ive had bbs off ppl but i think ive gave more away than ive received. were supposed to be a community so where is the community spirit?
i am sorry i love this site but i am now seriously considering leaving and not playing anymore as i cannot afford to and the all the new rules now are bliddy stupid when i first joined this site it was alot better all the new changes are making it a mess and alot of the players that were here when i joined have already left and more will leave now.
i cannot see when anything had to be changed in the first place as a level 6 player i now have to deposit 50 pound a month to get my bonus which i cannot afford so don’t get my bonus at 1 point as long as you made a deposit you got your bonus. i am very unhappy with the site now.
i have alot of good friends on here and love the gm’s it is the only adult conversation i get alot of the time lol but if there isn’t something done about the state of the site i will be leaving

oh deary me ….. firstly i would like to thanks tt for her very supportive post ,and i agree with everything she says ,i was ,before i became a gm a very loyal player at mania ,i found it ,stayed with it and now work for it. As player then i did see the passing of bbs occasionally and was even given some myself which i remember actually crying about because i had never seen this happen or be allowed at any other sight i had tried(and they were numerous!) but most of all it was the generosity of that player that bought a lump to my throat ,buttttttt..i have to say this didnt happen all the time and was a rare exception. recently the donating of bbs has become common place in the rooms ,so much to the fact that some players expect to be given bbs if they say they are skint , and even going so far as to asking for them , in jest sometimes maybe but this to me is not community spirit anymore! The decision made might not please everyone ,but i think the line has to be drawn somewhere ,afterall we are in my opinion the most generous and fair bingo site around , of course we dont want to see roomies leave because of this ,but i think you will be hard pushed to find a site where you actually ,even if you are allowed to donate bbs ,be able to win enough of them to be able to afford too!!!!
We gm’s do our best ,i for one make mistakes but thats just me ‘tigerlily’ and i hope you wouldn’t have me be be different , if a mistake is made i do my best to rectify it and apologise immediatly.

Firstly i would like to say that i am dissapointed in mania now, when i joined it was a fun site, now with all the new rules comming in i’m not happy, Take for instance fixed pots in the morning are supposed to start at ten am they did for a time now its morelike 1opast and quater past ten when it starts the stopps before the hour is up deyning us of a full hour of fxd pots,
Then theres this bb thingy going on now , me personaly i dont want bbs and thats just my choice i have given many bbs away to people who are a bit skint to allow them to play a while longer. You win bbs and i mean WIN why should they be able to take them off you when you cash out to me thats illegal might not be but to me it is, soon they will be taking actual money you have won thats one reason i dont go in chatroom a lot now as no one seems to talk anymore as they are to busy in other rooms , why not make all the rooms like fair and square or make it so that you can only play one room at a time then maybe you would get more peeps in the rooms and a convo going because at the moment its boring you say summat to someone and 5 mins later you might get a reply, as the people who know me i like to have a laugh and a bit of a wind up but it seems thats not possible now so therfore i too have been looking at other sites . I`ve read this post and until now have bitten my tongue to say nothing.To be arguing and bickering over such a trivial matter as bingo bucks really raises the question of priorities. There are kids dying , getting killed and abused all over the world - on a daily basis we read/hear/see about various tragedies and here we are reduced to bickering over a few bingo bucks and a game of bingo which , at the end of the day is a pastime and /or hobby. Its not the be all and end all of life and at the end of the day I don`t care either way about the bbs issue. This site is a great site and to those of you who threaten to leave and go elsewhere - you`ll be very hard pushed to find anywhere else out there with all the benefits here has. I`m not just saying that because I won a nice JP the other day -I have always maintained that fact - this site is about the only one I have stayed with so long. I have no issues with awarding of bbs , the GMs are great as are the roomies. The pots are high ,if you win enough to cashout its payed promptly with no quibble no matter what the amount - minimum or huge amounts. There arent many sites - if any - who will allow you to build up bbs to an unlimited maximum. If anyone takes offence at anything I`ve said , frankly I`m not bothered. No offence was intended and nothing in this is aimed at anyone in particular. I think this site is great and I for one will continue to deposit and play here

If you cant afford to play then you just dont play, its simple.
I myself only deposit once a week and when its gone its gone, bbs are not there to be relied on, they are a extra bonus.
When i first started playing here bb passing was a rare thing but recently i have noticed that people will almost beg people for them. Personaly i dont donate or recieve donations so the new rule doesnt bother me in the slightest, but i do think its a good thing as chat may now go back to being chat and not a whos got the lowest balance competition.

I recently posted a warning to all the women out there, posting 148, please read if you havnt already, But, It has been mentioned also to me that there is another scam going on, in which undesirables and scrotes, put a sticker or note looking piece of paper on the windscreen or back window, and when you get back out of your car, usually after putting the keys in the ignition, they jump into your car when you get out to investigate what the note says, and then drive off with all your goodies from the shop, car and probably bag you left on the passenger seat, so again, be careful, think very hard what your doing, especially when your out on your own, and while driving, please make sure your doors are locked, and dont open for anything till your home, good luck, Pete………….

After reading the many comments about BB’s and passing them to others, I would like to say I have passed them to others and had some passed to me. I also have to agree that some people are actually begging for BB’s which I find wrong, peole are saying its passing between friends but I feel some people who have been lucky enough to have had a win big enough to want to cashout shouldn’t be made to feel that they should have to pass BB’s and I have noticed this to be the case over the last few weeks.
Having said that I was in the pound room on the night in question and I will say what I feel and I will mention names… I actually left the room because the atmosphere was so thick it was not enjoyable anymore, and yes I do spend my money here to enjoy my bingo (and hopefully have a win) and have a laugh with other players and the GM’s, and that just wasn’t happening.
I was absoloutly disgusted with a player named itsnotme who blatantly attacked lolly in chat she was very harsh with her words and as much as I love Sapphire I feel she as GM should have warned itsnotme for her outburst, I have since found out she works as a GM on another site well I think she is a not a good advert, she was well out of order and I will not stay playing in a room and spend my money where she is if I have to play out of chat then so be it.
I love this site and feel that the reason tempers are short in pound room at the moment is because of high JACKPOT…. please win it someone so our room can go back to the happy enjoyable room it always has been…. Maybe then the Jackpot chasers will look elsewhere for the big win.

I do not post on here much but I do like the idea of people being able to give money to others. I know another site that does this. it is called e gifting.
That way it will be private between 2 players and noone else needs to know then people can be as generous as they want.
The other site puts a limit of egifts at 15.00 per month.
I only know this helped me cos I cant use my mums card on here and mine is a prepaid card so unless i go down the bank and fund it then I cant use it…….I know lazy me get me butt off the bingo chair and go to the bank hehehe.

Mum would depoist and get the bonus for depositing, she would then egift me (not losing her bonus) and I would get the money transferred to me but in bbs.
That way manis still gets the money, mum gets the bonus and I get her depo.

Well what a kerfuffle….I have only just found out about not being able to share bb’s wiv me buddies, and I beg for the ruling to be changed. I have read all of the blogs and I agree with some and not with others. I just want to be able to share my bb’s if I have had a good win, with the people I care about, as I cant share the win with them.

After reading the blog and seeing how some people feel the same as me I thought I would ask.
It is very nice that every month we get a loyalty bonus, especially as after a while your level can go up and the amount does too.
The downside is that whilst it is a nice honour to go up a level sometimes maintaining that level is difficult or impossible, and if we do not honour the amount per month for our level we do not get a bonus.
Now I know that you are not a charity and this site has to make money, that i do understand BUT if you have a player for example on level 6 (oooh funny that - that’s me) who for example is skint (yup seeing a resemblence here) and cannot put the required £50 i think it is on in one month, could they not just go down a level and still get some loyalty?
The player is still loyal to the site, just skint.
I notice in chat and on here that a lot of people do ask why this can not be the case so thought i would ask you directly?
Some months the site has had far more than the required £50 (for example) so it is swings and roundabouts really.

Sorry for the caps but just read Lara’s post and she has had problems with the game not crediting, it may seem a big fuss to some people but I know how much I spent on that game and only realised it was not working when I looked at the pay tables. This is not acceptable. I just hope Lara you get better support than I did all I got was inconsitency’s or was totally ignored which is what is happening now.
PS - this has been going on since beginning of december.

Thanks Lara - but I think I know what they are going to say.
It “appears” what is happening and I have tested this and is true, when you play a nine line game like me you probably placed 1 bet on 9 lines but for some reason when you come out of the game it is switching to 9 bets per 1 line so the odds are being greatly reduced.
I spoke to support again today on this issue and pointed out why is so many people having problems with this game and was told it is the players responsibility to ensure the bet is based properly - which i guess is true - BUT, why would a game do this unless to specifically deceive you. The odds are greatly reduced at 9 bets per line rather than 9 line bets.
There is a lot of people playing this game and if like me you dont realise at first then you are basically wasting your money and again I can not understand why the game would do this - it is causing a lot of confusion for many people.
And again another big BUT I realised this was happening for a while so made sure to check and put the counters back to where they should be so I know that games did pay out incorrectly when I was betting as I thought I was but the techy team so not so. I really hope you get this sorted Lara and hope your experiance getting help was better than mine. My advice to anyone - stay clear of the slots on here, if something goes wrong you have no recourse.
Yes fraggle, i agree with you 100%. I am level six too & to get there we have obviously spent alot (ooops lol) and we are here most days (or everyday shhhhh). So not to get any loyalty would be a great shame.

Just to say that I have asked a few peeps in chat and all agree with me, that whilst it is nice to be receiving a loyalty bonus, what point is that if it is taken away due to financial situations being difficult?
It then does not become a loyalty bonus yet we are here playing still.
Lolly mentioned in chat today that she still thought that as long as you placed £10 per month onto your account you were guaranteed your bonus still - why can that not be the case still, or as I suggested we (for the month we have not deposited enough) just drop down one level so we still get something back for all the money we have spent.
And this is not being greedy, one of the reasons people do use this site is FOR all the bonuses that can be achieved - which is one of the selling points of the site.
i have also posted about the loyalty monthly bonus as i have also gone upto level6 and i am expected to pay more know that i am on this level to get a monthly bonus just doesnt seem right does it. i have also emailed them regarding it and have had no reply to my emails

If you see the last post I did on here what the Tech team are saying is the game did in fact play correctly but there seems to be an issue that when you come out of a game and back in it is reverting from 9 bets to 9 bets on 1 line. Why is it doind this - it is causing a lot of confusion.
I have accepted that nothing will be done about this as far as support are concerened the game played correctly. My point is how this was handled.
I sent numerous email that were ignored and had a ticket stating they had credited me back for 1 game but then was told this was wrong.
No other slot game as far as I am aware does this for example bringing home the bacon and that is a 9 line game also, I just think it needs looking into as a lot of people are getting confused thinking they should have been credited for wins not realising the game had changed itself and the betting pattern.
I understand fully it is our responsibility to check before we spin but when you have been playing the same game for a while its not something you expect to happen. If we are not manually making this change for ourselves then again why does the system see fit to make this change for us?.

hi stu….just a suggestion about monthly bonuses and the levels peeps are on, would it not be a good idea to increase the time bonuses are paid out….ie instead of monthly u could pay out say every six months…..and that way peeps would get something……you could do it on a percentage of what they deposited…………they would be no need for peeps to be on a level then..the more they depot the more they receive and vice versa…………….and it would save office staff man hours cos they would be doing it say once or twice a year instead of 12……and u could put those hours saved into some other use.

Whist I appreciate that this is a subject which some of you feel very passionately about, could I just remind you that it is a condition of using this blog that you are to be civil, reasonable and helpful. Some of the comments recently have become very heated and in danger of causing offence to people. Before you post on the blog, please think about what you are typing and the reaction it may draw from other players. This persistent bickering is also causing more players to play out of chat, which in turn leads to further ill feeling amongst players.
With regards to the loyalty bonuses:
The BingoMania loyalty program has been in place for many years now and up until recently, when the donating of BBs was stopped; we had never had any complaints. Some of the posts here seem to make the suggestion that we have all of a sudden changed the loyalty rules, when in fact they have been the same since Mania UK opened. The rules on how the loyalty program work can be found on the website in the promotions/player loyalty section.
I would just like to remind you all that Mania UK is, without a doubt, the most generous site in the UK bingo scene. As such, all the staff here at Mania UK, find it remarkable that players are complaining about our generosity. It seems to us that some players are becoming too focused on the BBs, rather than the bingo and the community spirit, which is saddening.
Could we all please make a conscious effort to get along with each other better, respect each others’ opinions and put the fun back into the chat rooms.

Cant say much about loyalty bonus, I deposit when and how much I can and any extra I get as a freebie is great. What I would like to have a moan about though is bbs. While most of you can join in the chat games and have the chance of winning these bbs, which can add up on a good night, me and some others are not allowed to play these games, the reason being that my brother is married to one of the gms. It would be nice to be able to join in with this but gets a bit boring watching other peeps winning them so play ooc mostly now. If there can be no fiddling on the games really cant see what difference it makes especially on fair and square where you win on what number you call up on. Sorry for moan but it does annoy me !!
HEAR HEAR TT . I tended never to play ooc prior to all the recent bickering but recently have been doing so far more often just to avoid seeing all the moaning going on. I and a lot of others have enough going on without having to pay to be made to feel miserable over a few bbs.

I did actually go into the pound room the other day and was so pleased to chat to peeps I havent spoken to for a long time and enjoyed it, it showed me what I been missing at mania the friendly people here, so maybe all this about bbs and loyalty should not be taken for granted, but appreciate it after all we are blessed with all the privilages mania supply to their players.
One more thing staurt as some peeps have said about not maintaining their loyalty level, maybe for that month they could be given the level below their actual loyalty, as yes I think its unfair they get nothing if they couldnt deposit that month.

Regards the ‘bright red highlight’ in Madhouse and Pound Room, I’ll place a request to our game designers and hopefully we can find an alternative colour. I can’t promise a definite time period as we’ve got a big pile of to-dos right now and are doing our best in getting all of them completed. But will do our best to get this request looked at!

hi i would just like to suggest doing word chat games like Trivia in fair and square so the players all get to take part in cgs not just the winners i have played on a few sites and they play games like trivia and missing link and these games are great coz they get all players involved and get people chatting

Hiya Beena I agree! We’ve been trying to organize a “mania meet up” with GMs, roomies and Skippy for sometime now. We But haven’t been able to find a convenient time that will suit all of our GMs. I’ll discuss this with GM Tartanterror further and hopefully we can organize a meet up in the near future.

As you know (or not!!!) I live in France as does my mum, Dazz lives in Spain (Should she want to come!) and I know some other players live in other countries.
I would love to come to a meet but I would need a bit of notice - well ok loads, all the red wine does confuddle me brain, so that I could make it.

Saying that the changes are good, it does get boring after a while but I had no idea they were changing.
Perhaps you could put it into the newsletter before it changes?
Also a small thing but when it says about the pound room buy one get one free at 4.00 every day ut says the tickets are 50 pence- yet they are a pound - hence the pound room?
Ok for us who know the score but for a few newbies it is misleading.

Could I just remind you all that the blog is not meant as a place to run down other players or start (or enter into) arguments.
As regards to chat games - there are a few players who only come into chat for the BBS (as we have said before) and that is quite sad. We didn’t announce the new CG lineup because, quite honestly, we thought that the majority of players thought they were a bonus - not really the whole reason for chat. And that REALLY isn’t a dig at anyone so no one needs to take it personally. We will take it into consideration next time they change.
Fragg - Stu answers the blog as often as he is able. He has a very busy life running things and I’m sure you will agree that keeping things going smoothly needs to take priority.

You are quite right Med, the chat games are a bonus and should be treated as such, it is a shame that some peeps are only in room for the cg’s but that will always be the way unfortunately, although I do think that those peeps are in the minority, the majority of us are in the room to speak to friends etc as well as for chat games, and it was just a suggestion about having notice of new line up that I thought would be good, it wasnt a moan about not knowing.
And I apologise for going back at MadPanics post, perhaps I should have just ignored it, but ya know me and my big gob, if I feel that someone is havin a pop at me I have to go back at em lol, but in future I will just ignore lol ( well try anyway )

Stu, I notice that u have changed the colour that highlights the prize amounts in Madhouse, thank u very much hun that red was awful and although I think it would have been better just having the amounts without any coulour highlighting them, the yellow is a vast improvement and so much easier to see the amounts now.

Nothing wrong with the red, change to what ? others might not like that colour so on and so forth cant change just for one if you do it will open the floodgates to allow others to dictate what colour the prize ammounts should be.

I would like to suggest that blog is changed to type that is moderated before comments posted. I realise that this would mean that there would be a delay in comments being available but also think that there would be some moderation of comments that can be perceived as critical or unpleasant. Personally, I worry that anyone reading blog at times could get an unwarranted bad impression of the atmosphere at mania and would welcome measures to change this.
What do others think? Would this be feasible stu?
I agree with u there mags, as there are at times comments made on here that can upset or offend some peeps, so if they were seen and moderated before appearing on here that would take away any upset or offence. As for the delay in blogs being seen and replied to, well Im sure that we would all agree to put up with that, after all there is nothing that is so important that has to be replied to straight away surely lol
I have just read blogs and agree that they should be moderated as there are 1 or 2 peeps that seem to be constantly having a dig at a certain player, this does not make good reading and is not what blog is for!!! If I was new to site and read blog I would not be impressed and can honestly say as a regular player am not impressed either!!

ok stu …. you have changed the colour of the winnings box as it was hurting peoples eyes. when is the prize amounts going to be fixed in little britain so we can see what were playing for.this i think has not shown what we are playing for since we got the new server which was months ago. when we ask the GM’s the replies are …. techies are on to it. if the colour can be fixed to accomadate a person’s eyes then i think fixing the problem in little britain should have been sorted by now. in my opinion this would have been a little more important

not sure where to put this - but how come we cant see wat we are playing for in 90 ball room until the game begins? This isnt the case in other rooms here and i think its a bit discouraging for players.
Firstly, can Mania tell us when we are gonna get the facility to withdraw back to our cards, we were told by GM Med some time ago that it was on its way but still no sign ?
Secondly, what happened to the ‘ My Mania ‘ that we were getting ?? That seems to have disappeared out of the window !
Lastly, are we ever gonna get the thread on here for questions that we want to ask ?
I know that we can send a ticket in for any queries that we get and the office are very good in getting back to us, but sometimes there are general questions that peeps want to ask and why burden the office staff with those ? They have enough to do as it is, so having a thread on here for those general questions would be very handy, and we were told that we would be getting one many moons ago !
Hopefully someone will get back to me on these questions

In answer to your first question, this is something that is being looked at. We haven’t forgotten it but it’s not a simple thing to put in place.
Secondly, MyMania was hit by technical problems and we felt that our members would probably rather we tried to sort out withdrawals to cards first. MyMania has not been forgotten - just delayed.
Finally, this is exactly the place for posting general, non-specific comments, suggestions and questions (you will note I have moved your post here and edited it slightly). I don’t recall anyone ever saying anything about a question thread but Suggestion Box is very prominently displayed on all the blog pages and ideal for that sort of thing.

Re the card withdrawals, it was just an update I was looking for as we hadnt heard owt on it since u last said about it, and as long as it is still being looked into that is just fine.
Re Mymania, yes ur quite right Med, I for one would rather have the card withdrawals prioritised over MyMania, thanks for that.
Lastly, it was mentioned many moons ago about a question thread, I asked Stu when this blog first started, but thats fine if our questions can go on the suggestion thread, I just thought that this was for suggestions only rather than questions.

Taco was never going to work with the prices the way they were - but we all LOVE a cheap game of bingo and I think this would really work.
