Skippy’s Cool Cash Giveaway

Skippy had a little win on the lottery on Wednesday night and he thought it would be nice to share his good fortune with all the Maniacs. Thanks Skippy.

He was going to buy everyone an ice-lolly but we pointed out that by the time you got them, they would have melted. So Stuart and TT got their thinking caps on and decided a nice cool tourney was just what was needed in the summer heat.

It’s been a little while since we had a tourney, so we thought we’d give you the chance to win some great cash prizes to spend on a new air cooler, walk-in fridge, several gallons of ice cream or whatever else takes your fancy.

For a chance to win, just buy into the special dollar pattern games in Madhouse and The Pound from 10th to 31st May. Each one of the special bingo games you win in Madhouse will earn you 1 tourney point, and each one you win in The Pound will earn you 2 tourney points. At the end of the tourney the cash prizes will be awarded to the 3 players with the most points.

1st place – £750 cash

2nd place– £500 cash

3rd place – £250 cash

To make sure everyone has a fair chance, we’re setting a 4 card max on these games, and the cards will be at the usual price for the room. We’ll also put up a leader board as soon as we can so you can keep track of how you’re doing.

The tourney starts at 09:00 hours (BST) on the 10th May and ends at 23:59 hours (BST) on the 31st May. We’ll be announcing the winners in chat and on the blog on Monday 2nd June, and in the newsletter which goes out on Friday 6th June.

To be eligible to win the prizes, players must be active members whose accounts are in good standing and who have made a deposit in the past 30 days. In the event of a tie, the cash prizes will be split equally amongst all winners with the same number of points. Employees of Helix Gaming and their immediate family are not eligible to win prizes. No alternative prizes will be offered.

    Can I make a suggestion regarding the Skippy tourney please.
    We all know that when we make a withdrawal from our Mania account that we lose our BB’s and we all accept that but do u think that whoever wins the Skippy tourney could be allowed to withdraw their cash prize without losing their BB’s on this occasion, as it seems only fair that when winning large cash prizes in such a competition like this that the winners are not penalised by losing all their BB’s.
    We understand that Mania like us to leave our big wins on here to play back but on occasions like this it hardly seems worth entering the comp if the winners are not gonna be able to enjoy their prizes without the threat of losing all their BB’s as I am sure that there are some peeps on ere that have got large amounts stashed in BB’s simply because they prefer to deposit rather than use their BB’s and prefer to keep them for when they are not able to deposit for whatever reason.
    It would be great if u could give this some thought please.

    Due to a technical problem all the Skippy games played on the 31st of May were not added to our leaderboard. Rather than logging all wins up until 11:59 pm on 31st May it logged all wins up until 11:59pm on 30th May. This problem has now been rectified and the leaderboard updated accurately.
