Change can be hard - stopping smoking, spending more time with kids, eating healthier. But this is the time to do it.

I have two New Year’s Resolution. The first - spend more time with my family and friends in 2008. Last year, was a crazy year for me at work, so I hardly spent any quality time with those close to me. But this year I’m committed in changing that.
My 2nd resolution is simple - it’s a continuation of 2007: to spoil you, our loyal maniacs even more in ‘08 with fun and entertainment.

MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION IS TO PLAY A LOT LESS BINGO, HAVING SPENT THE LAST WEEK AND MORE PLAYING EVERY EVENING AND WINNING NEAR ON ZILCH AND I HAVE FINALLY REALISED THAT I AM NEVER GONNA BE ONE OF THE REGULAR WINNERS THAT ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO POP UP EVERY DAY/NIGHT, PARTICULARLY DURING THE FIXED POTS SESSIONS LOL, SO I HAVE DECIDED TO SPEND A LOT LESS TIME AND MONEY PLAYING BINGO AND GET BACK INTO ME BANK MANAGERS GOOD BOOKS LMAOOOOO
PS. POPPY, U COULDNT BE ANY TIGHTER WITH THOSE BB’S THAN U ALREADY ARE ROFLLLLLL

Seriously some people are regularly lucky and some not - I am luckier than some, but overall not by a lot and my bank balance has suffered dramatically as a result.

Fragg hun, I no longer so sure that it down to just luck lol, I find it really strange that some peeps win every single time that they play and I cant understand how the fixed pots are won by the same peeps each day to be honest.
Dont get me wrong, Im well pleased for em coz I dont begrudge anybody a win coz like I say, u pay u play and as u say some peeps are luckier than others and well done to em I say but I do find it strange how the same winners pop up time and time again, maybe the system pickin up on their IP address, all I can say is I wish it would blidy well pick up on mine lmaoooooo.
Seriously tho, I have become rather disconcerted about the fixed pots and the bigger games so I just dont play them as often now and savin me pennies for games that I have a slightly better chance of winning lol, which pleases me bank balance no end lol

grumps you just voiced what i been thinking for a while, especially on fixed pots, u can almost guarantee i dont win any. anyway as u say e1 pays and plays to win , just that some are a lot luckier than others (me) lol.

Dazz Im so glad I ent only one thinkin this way lol, was beginnin to think that maybe i would sound like sour grapes on my part rofllll although I do try not to sound sour lol, coz I have had my share of good luck lately but it seems that each time I have a run of good luck Mania then drop me like a hot potato lol and I win zilch for weeks on end, I have now not won zilch for over a week so when it seems like an unfair game with the fixed pots it is hard not to sound like sour grapes lol, but sayin all that good luck to all, even the regular winners lol xxxxxx

The thing is I like all the peeps on here and wouldn’t begrudge ANYONE a win or five or ten or or or……..
BUTTTTTTT come on, I am luckier than some I know but it IS mainly the same peeps winning decent pots and one off games, and coveralls and and and JP’s !!!!!.
It is not sour grapes, it is factual,and it is frustrating.
I think it may be something to do with the IP address, I cannot think what else it could be.
I play nearly every day, some days all day and I am lucky if I do not have to top up, let alone have a few days winnings to play on - or god forbid - CASH OUT !!!!!!
Anyway moan over - I am going to have to take a break form it all, I cannot afford it and don’t want to get all bitter and yucky ‘cos it’s never me but the same old faces lol

same ere fragg hun, I dont wanna become one of those peeps either, but I do believe that the techs need to look into this IP address idea, coz I too cant think wot else it could be apart from the game being rigged and I dont believe that of this site, other sites yes but not this one, so maybe Stu u would like to get ur techies to look into whether or not the system is picking up on certain IP addresses or not coz thats wot it is looking like hun.

I really don’t know where you got the idea from that winning has got anything to do with IP addresses.
I keep telling everyone - the only way to increase your chances of winning is to increase the number of cards you buy. It’s simple statistics - the more cards you have the more likely you are to have the winning card.
Yes, I know you can win with just 1 card and that maxing doesn’t guarantee you a win - but over the course of a day, statistically the more cards you buy per game the more times you will win.
Oh and just for the record - our techs have NOTHING to do with the outcome of the game - that WOULD be unfair. The outcome of the game is decided by the software which uses a random number generator which has been tested and certified to be unbiased - see bingo info > fair play on the website for more information.
HMMM, Im sorry that u saw fit to jump on mine and Fraggles blog postings Med, it was certainly not our intention to cause offence, but one thing is for sure, that I for one will not be tempted to buy more cards than I normally buy in the vain attempt to win a game that I am not destined to win for whatever reason, but I do apologise if our blogs caused u any offence Med, none was intended xxxxx

Awwww Med hun u telling the converted here hunni, no way would I even suggest that this site is rigged in any way whatsoever, as u quite rightly say this is one of the fairest sites out there, I know that for a fact, I wouldnt play here if I thought otherwise. All I was saying to Fraggle was that as there is such a high number of same winners, esp on the fixed pots, it wouldnt surprise me if the system was picking up on something that we not aware of, ie: the IP addresses, it was just a random thought hun and certainly not intended to offend or get anybody’s back up. And as for staff playin on ere, well I know they dont on this site hun, this is one of the few sites that doesnt have its employees playing as site players on here and no way would I even suggest such a thing happens on this site.

It is just bizarre no matter how many tickets you buy that it inevitably ends up the same winners winning.
Anyway I can assure you I do not think it is ‘planned’ I don’t think i referred to it being employees playing - as I do not think that.
I was having a chat with grumps and dazz ’tis all.
Grumps unless I manage to pull something outta the bag, I won’t see you for a bit but extra gl next weekend.

Given the theme developing here, just thought i would mention a book called “The luck factor : a scientific study of the lucky mind” by Richard Wiseman. I will make no comment on the contents but think some of you might find it interesting.
Hope its not nawty or seen as advertising - i have no connection to this author, etc but did find the book interesting.

My resolution for 2008 is to do the same as last year but in different clothes lol
my new yearsresolution is to try and be more active and take my kids out more instead of been stuck in the house just cause i’m ill.you never know the fresh air could cure me lol
As far as new year resolutions go i have really only made one, and sorry to say that is not to fund bingomania during 2008, why i hear you ask yourself? the main answer to that is that there really is a limit on how many times one can fund without a return and sorry to say that i passed that point ages ago, while at the same time watching others win over and over again. Its not mania’s fault, i know it is fair, also it has nothing to do with buying max tickets, i tried that once, maxed for a whole hour, spent £60 and still the same winners kept on winning.
Another point that has prompted my resolution is that mania now require a £20 deposit to qualify for the extra bonus, i hardly ever fund more than a tenner in one go, so my tenners are currently going to other sites, sorry mania.
I will continue to keep up to date with events and may even pop in to say hi, so i wish mania and alkl its winners and losers a very happy new year.

I have to disagree, it has nowt to do with the amount of tickets you buy, i have tried maxing but still the same peeps win. I don’t know what the answer is but somebody somewhere needs to find it because there is nowt more damaging to a sites reputation than the same handfull of winners during every session.
I much prefer mania to any other site especially in terms of it’s friendliness, both players and CM’s, but for the time being i am sticking to my new years resolution of not funding during 2008.

Also the bonus on twenty quid may be negotiated I am led to believe - so keep coming back in case they do and you can get a decent bonus on your tenner.

Firstly a thank you to fraggle for wishing me luck wherever i play. Now those of you that were in little britain on saturday evening will have noticed that i broke my new year resolution, don’t laugh, i did las out til february, plus you will have seen what i didn’t see, MY WINS! as i went onto autobuy and toddled off to work. Thanks to poppy and grumps for pointing out that the extra bonus is on deposits of £10 this month. I would like to think that is has come about because mania listened to my comments, and, if that is the case, then the least i can do is divert my £10 deposits back to mania and see how things go. As for my previous comments can i just make sure that i have not been misunderstood, i am fully aware that mania is fair, as a previous jackpot winner myself i would be foolish to think otherwise, it is of course just the luck of the ticket. So thank you mania for the february bonus, perhaps it is just what i need to get me back as a regular again.. Thanks for listening and good luck.
