Over the past week, our blog posts have described the changes coming to BingoMania this Tuesday (10 February). Yesterday, we provided a sneak peak at some of the new games we’ve cooked up for you. Today we reveal our re-imagined BingoMania rooms.
When you login on Tuesday, you’ll be greeted with four shiny new bingo rooms:
Lucky Streak: 75-ball 10p bingo, open 24 hours & hosted 6am-1am
Madhouse: 75-ball 25p bingo, open & hosted midday to midnight
Money Tree: 90-ball 20p bingo, open 24 hours & hosted 6am-1am
Dream Catcher: 90-ball 10p bingo, open & hosted midday to midnight
These bingo rooms and game schedules aren’t just new to you — they are being introduced on Tuesday to all players on the common platform for the first time. This means that everyone will discover new fun together (and you won’t be the only one a bit dazzled by change).
With the move to a common platform, you’ll be playing alongside your fellow BingoManiacs as well as new friends who have entered through other sites on the network. Players come through different doors, but all arrive at a fun and friendly bingo community we’ll all call home. As the saying goes, there is strength in numbers. You’ll play for larger prizes, enjoy a wider circle of friends, experience a greater variety of games and promotions, and most importantly have more fun!
While some of the room names may be new and the structure a bit different, inside you’ll find what you’ve come to love at BingoMania: exciting bingo and chat games, a caring community and friendly chat hosts (old and new). You’ll see many familiar faces in the expanded chat team as most of your favorite GMs make the move to the common platform. TartanTerror will continue to head the team. Womble, Poppy, Tigerlily and Sparkle will also continue with us and we’ll all work hard to make the transition as seamless as possible. Unfortunately, not all of the BingoMania GMs were able to be accomodated in the schedule. We’ll greatly miss the GMs who won’t be returning and wish them all the very best for the future.
On the jackpot front, come Tuesday you’ll see some massive progressive jackpot amounts available to be won on almost every bingo game played! The amounts from our existing jackpots will be combined with other jackpots on the network to form two new mega pots. As long as there are no jackpot wins before Tuesday, we’re looking at a new 75-ball “Big Ticket” jackpot with a prize of over £7,500 and a new 90-ball “Sky High” jackpot with a prize of over £4,000!

I am not playing as much as I used to be and do not usualy post, but would just like to say a fond farewell to all the CM’s who will not be hosting for Mania in the future. A very big thank you for all the endless many, many hours and in some cases, years of hosting and monitoring the chat rooms. I have kept quiet on all the changes, because even tho I dont like any of them, I am realistic enough to know that nothing I or anyone says or does at this stage will reverse the changes ! However, after reading this latest blog tonight, I felt I had to say what I thought, although Im sure that most of this will be either pulled or edited !
When I first signed up to Bingomania, it was because of the special promo they were doing of a free 200 pounds to play in the promo room with. Although I didnt win anything with that free money I decided to stay with Mania because it was a small and friendly site and that is exactly what I was looking for, but also because it was a site that listened to its players and made us feel part of its small community, involving us in its changes and … decisions that it made to some extent.
Bingomania was different to all the other online bingo sites out there, it was one of a kind, and that was what I loved about it, but, that era has now come to an end and Bingomania is about to become one of the numerous faceless bingo sites out there.
Maybe its just me and the fact that I am a creature of habit and dont like changes, but I have to say that although I will continue to play on here ocassionally, I will be looking for another bingo site to call home, because Mania is no longer gonna be the site that I originally signed up to, and that makes me very sad.
Yes, Mania is keeping some of our favourite GM’s, which I am pleased about, but getting rid of all our rooms and replacing them with lesser rooms in my opinion, I mean, who’s idea was it to get rid of the pound room ??? Not the players thats for sure !
These changes have all been presented to us as new and exciting and something to look forward to, well, although they may appeal to some, they certainly do not appeal to me, as we are now just gonna be part of the faceless online bingo world that is out there !
The only good thing that has come out of these changes for me personally is that I cant see me ever finding another bingo site that is as good as what Bingomania USED to be, and I will therefore save an awful lot of money each month, which is good news for me as I am about to become a grandmother for the first time, so maybe this is fates way of telling me to start using my bingo money each month to buy things for my future grandchild, so that is what I will be doing !
To the few good friends that I have made on here, I will still be around sometimes and I will come in the rooms ocassionally to say hello, and Janny……. u ent getting rid of me coz I will continue to harass u on MSN !

All well and good but the jp on the TGN site currently stands at 4,800 in the 75 ball room - 4,800 plus £2,742.00 =roughly 7.5k so thats fine.
I assume the pound room JP is whats making up the next total of 4k.
What about the JP of roughly 9k which mania players have built up for bring home the bacon?? And the JP that was taken away a few months ago with no warning which was the wild cherry slots( nowhere to be seen now) of £3,977.42????????? I never played it so hence I have never contributed to it but until now never felt the need to comment.Where has this money gone????????????
I have NEVER slated mania in the 4 -5 years I have played here but I do feel you are now trying to take us for mugs. The money in those jps hasnt been mentioned and have just been conveniently overlooked hoping no one will notice.

I too would also like to thank the GMS who have lost their jobs as a result of this merger . Like incognito says all the best for the future and thanks for putting up with us all for so long.

I would just like to say thank you to all the GMs going and wish them luck for the future, but i would like to know why these GMs have got to go but we will be getting new ones seems a bit silly to me .
Oh deary me - sapphy chocs and midgey - Sapphy was 1st gm that spoke to me as a new player - chocs one of the 1st roomies that I spoke to when i started playing - midgey, well midgey is midgey. I personally will miss you. I thought on a 24hr site as I understand its going to be - that you could have stayed. So for the last time to you I say coooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeee.

Very sorry that we are losing some of our gms who we all luv even silly wobba cant make light of that, I really wish you all the best in the future.
Sometimes changes have to be made wether we like it or not and we are all in someway feeling the pinch I think with the way things are, so I can understand that this merger has probably been a decision that has to a point been vital to all those included in the merger
On a wobba point of view yeah I totally agree with spooks regarding slots, I been feeding them bliddy pigs for a year (got shares in em!) its a shame that the running jps were not left aside with all clubs merging for their own members who have put all that money into running jps to have been given exclusive use to them until jps have been won by original members only.
I am sure peeps on other sites would feel the same, obviously the bingo starts anew with accumulated pots merging I would imagine, even more brill wobba idea think roomies wud agree know gladys will love this one, just share the running jps from slots amongst us all and reset to zeros, dont mind a share in that hee hee.
Lets hope all in all this will continue to be the site we have all grown to love as I know a lot of us have reservations. I wont congratulate the remaining gms on keeping their places, its a shame anybody had to go.

Well firstly
I think it sucks that we are losing GM’s, and the pound room and LB in fact pretty much everything that made Mania what it is.
Everything Mania sold itself on will not disappear.
As I have said in chat I am now finding it hard to afford to play but these changes mean I am not too concerned about it now.

I am not happy that JP’s on slots will disappear, nor about losing the pound room, esp the BOGOF - everyone loved that room.
Losing the GM’s is pants, they were mania.
i said this last night fraggs loosing pound room and lb is very sad but my original post was removed, i realise changes are sometimes good but what made mania unique is now gone along with 3 smashing gm s
mania is just another run off the mill bingo site and wont stand out anymore.

Ive read all the changes, and am very sad to see mania as we know go. Having joined the site wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back when it was newish ive seen a few changes, I must admit i not in chat like i used to be - mainly cos i now work full time. I love mania as its small community site, and feel that that will go.
Also i like answers to the Slots pjps ( those piggys haunt me in my sleep )
The incentive to fund each month has lost its appeal for me - with the monthly vip bonuses, and the loss of 150% days gone.

I to have to say i am very sad to see mania as we not disappear it was the small things that made Mania stand out from the rest , now i fear it will turn into 1 of the big sites that put profit before loyalty.I have been a member for a very long time but feel i will no longer feel part of the mania family but just another player on just another site.
I was very suprised when I logged in tonite and went onto the blog to read the next update and found out that we will be losing phe, saffy and midgey. I didnt know midgey that well but phe and saffy always made me welcome. I will be so sorry to see you all go and wish you all the best for the future. Saffy I hope with everything that you have been through this year that things can only get better for you. Will miss you all.
On the changes on the site, I will probably give it a go and see how it pans out, but if it ends up getting as big as some of the unmentioned sites out there I too will probably look for a smaller site.

i have been here nearly 3 years now and love this site as its more of a famiy, thats the reason i only play on mania and no other site. I will give it a try and see how it goes but iam sad that we are loosing midgey, phe and saffy

Very very sad too see saffy go on a personal note was my favourite gm also found i could speak too saffy about anythink hope your boys ok and things hun and always remember saffy as one door shuts another one opens so keep faith. too be honest i think all the gms should remain as they made mania the place it was i will give it ago tomoro but too be honest cant see myself spending as much as i have done in the past if i had wanted too play on a bigger site i would of joined a bigger site last august.

Thank you Silverm for taking the time to come on here and welcome us all, I too will continue on this site and I will give the changes a go, even tho I am not at all happy about them, but in all honesty I cant see me staying, dont fancy being part of one big network, have tried that before and it was awful.

HI folks. I hope you dont mind my posting a hello and welcome on your excellent blog, but I wanted to introduce myself. I’m CH Blanche, and I’m looking forward to meeting the Mania players and working with new hosts. I have been a chat host for over 4 years, and the site I work for moved to the common platform some months ago. I confess I was worried about what changes were to come - our sense of community was strong, and I wondered if the transition would change too many things for us. I took a “wait and see” attitude, and gave it time to see if I could be happy in my new home. I can honestly say that I have discovered many new friends and new colleagues who seem to have come with a similar sense of community. Nothing is perfect in this world, but I am grateful to be able to say that we continue to have tremendous roomies and kind, dedicated chat hosts, and it’s a good place to be. We work hard to listen and be responsive to feedback from all players, and that means you will all have a voice and will be heard. So take some time, give it a whirl, and let’s go from there, together. I hope to see many of you in the coming days and weeks! xoxo Blanche
