Shhhh… don’t tell Stuart, but we’re making the progressive jackpot in Little Britain easier to win, starting from May 1st. Every day, twice a day at 9am and 5pm, we’ll be increasing the number of calls within which you can win the progressive by one number until the jackpot is won. But the lunacy doesn’t end there – oh no.
After that, we’ll be sticking two ponies (that’s fifty pounds if you’re from north of the Watford Gap) into the progressive jackpot to start it off and as usual we’ll throw our spare change in every game. The number of calls you get to win it will stay at a win-tastic level, so that more of you get the chance to walk away with the wonga. In fact – we want to see it go two or even three times a day.
Yup – you read it right. We want to see you win it two or three times a day. We want to shake your hand, dance on the tables, break open the bubbly and help you celebrate. But we need our beauty sleep (some of us more than others, mentioning no names) and we go to bed at 1am.
So at 1am every morning, we’re going to take the jackpot and tuck it under Stuart’s mattress so that he doesn’t notice it’s missing. At 9am, we’ll shake off the fluff and bits of corn flakes and put it back, crisp and shiny and ready for a new winner.
We think you’ll enjoy being able to win it more often – after all – who doesn’t want a jackpot win?

Brilliant as usual for mania. Strange how there are very few posts replying to this positive change! Maybe peeps just like the negative- if this was a post staing the jp numbers wud be reduced daily and the amount reduced by 50 pound I`m confident the post would be flooded by now lol! But as it stands - it is a bonus for players but no 1 is inclined to reply and say thanks ( well there`s a surprise). Ty Stuart it`s appreciated esp when seeing the earlier posts about increasing the jp call number. I`m just sorry no 1 has the decency to even acknowledge what mania are doing. Ermmmm max, not all of us read the blog every day hun, some of us work and only come on ere in the evenings and then just want to chill out with a few games of bingo, not everybody jumps on the blog as soon as a new post is placed on ere and from what I can see this was only put on here yesterday !
Also, I think u will find that not an awful lot of peeps play in Little Britain so often these days except for the fixed pots, and thats mainly because we can no longer see what we are playing for, we used to be able to see the prize amounts before the game started but when the new server was installed we lost that, and I dont know about u but the majority of peeps like to see what they are playing for before buying tikets hun, and a lot of peeps have been asking for some time now for that function to be put back.
However, now that I have seen this post, I will say nice one Stu, good idea to change the number that the JP can be won in, it may encourage more peeps to play in there, but I still think u need to put back the function where peeps can see what they are playing for hun.

Have to say max I agree with Grumps - I never even knew there was a difference in LB let alone a bit on blog on it.
I will have a mooch in there later but for the same reason as Grumps said - I only play when a0 i remember too, and b) i can see what i am paying to play for.

i agree grumps i only come on the blog if it is mentioned in the chat rooms as i forget it is here i also think it is worng where u can’t see what you are playing for if you could see what prizes u where playing for i think alot more players would play in there

Yes - I also work full time . My point was if this post would have said we are taking away a number and reducing jp by 50 pounds a day peeps would have blogged within the hour. And Grumpy - I take ur point - but take a look at the other posts u have replied to in order to complain ( albeit it in a nice way)- you and others have replied to them the same day. So please don`t imply I have nothing better to do than read the blog -I simply saw the post by Stuart and reckoned that it needed some acknowledgement . If you choose to be defensive in your response by stating it had only been on a day - so be it - the facts speak for themselves. As for people slating winners - I tend to say very little in chat as I hate seeinf bitchy comments made - be the player in or out of chat. As Moxynoz says- we all pay to play in or out of chat. The fcat that they arent in chat doesnt mean there aren`t friends of theirs in chat - in fact I have been pulled up for doing it and rightly so. Consequently I say very little anymore except the odd wd or ty - as some1 else rightly said- better to say nothing than offend.
