Skippy’s been our mascot since 1998, when the Web was still very young and the BingoMania.com caller used to skip calls. Guess that’s why we called him Skippy. Although he’s not a bush kangaroo.
But since we crossed the pond and opened BingoMania.co.uk, Skippy has been quiet. So, let’s change that. He’s lovable, cute, cuddly and an interesting shade of pink. We think you’ll enjoy having him around.

I am writing in response to what I have just read in LB about an incident yesterday in which it appears I am the culprit. I would just like to say that no insult was intended to gibbo I was just chatting about the time I spent in Spain and referring to the way the Spaniards talk about the Gibraltarians. Anyone who has been connected with that part of the world will understand the relationship between the two. If gibbo was insulted then I am more than sorry, she or he came back with a comment that I may be able to guess what the Gibraltarians call the Spaniards, I said I could probably guess, and carried on playing. I am not either Spanish or Gib I just lived and worked in both for a while. If I am able to upset people so easily then I shall refrain from making any comments in chat from now on. Once again if I have offended anybody by an innocent remark then please accept my apologoes.
I would just like to say to parson i know the feeling, i have said things in the chat room as a joke and some people have got the wrong end of the stick, some are way to serious and should take time out from bingo, this will prob get me in trouble too but hey am i bovvered ? i dont think so.
So dont worry about it after all it is a chat room and not just a room for saying wd.gl ty .wtgg. i want this number and that number so on and so forth.
Anyway thats me said enough now will wait for the backlash on it lmao.

I have no idea what you may have said or not - wasn’t there, but i do know how easy it is to get an innocent comment perceived as a malicious one.
I have done it to others and have had it done to me.
Most people know that these things do ‘just happen’ and I cannot believe anyone on this site would hold a grudge if a comment was made innocently, but affected someone personally.
So no backlash from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is hard sometimes to express something on a computer without seeing the people face to face.
I am sure if anyone really thought you made a nasty comment on purpose Parson, then the GM on at the time would have said something, don’t worry

I agree Fraggle hun, it is all too easy to have an innocent remark or comment taken out of context on the computer as we dont see peeps face to face and therefore cannot judge whether or not peeps would take the comment as it is meant.
It is also all to easy for people to make malicious remarks and put the word LOL after it, but I think that if u are gonna participate in any chat room u do have to grow a bit of a thick skin, and not take things too personally or to heart.
Many a time I have had a banter in the chat room with some of my friends and at times when me and janny are bantering it can seem like we hate each other lol, but that is all it is, a banter between good friends, Janny knows me well enough to know that I would never mean any harm to her and vice versa and many a time I have told both her and moxy to shurrup and the names I call moxy sometimes just dont bear repeating lmaoooo but as I said, they know that I dont mean it in a hurtful way and I am just joshing with them, but we do all have to grow a thicker skin at times lol
So, parson snose, dont worry hun, as fraggle has said, if u were out of order with ur remarks in the chat room the GM would have pulled u up about it and as they didnt then that would signify that u wernt, so dont worry hun, and Im sure that Gibbo didnt take ur remarks to heart hun xxxxxxx

Id like to comment on parsons nose entry. I agree with both Fraggle & Grumps on the matter.I have been where u are hun & i fretted in the same way too. As it turns out,the roomie involved went ooc becos of a family thing & NOT out of what i said! Things can be soooo misconstrude at times beyond our control & Grumps is right in sayin that in cases like this,u have to have a thicker skin!
