Happy Valentines Day from BingoMania UK

Yes, yes, it’s been a wee while (one week in fact), but I’m pleased to be back blogging again.

First off, Happy Valentine’s Day to all – glad to see a number of our members signed up for tonight’s Sweetheart Bingo Tourney. I think it will be a blast and a change to everyday bingo games. Wish everyone a great time tonight and best of luck!

If you haven’t signed up yet, you’ve still time to reserve your seat - register until 7pm GMT tonight.

Now, I’m curious to hear what everyone received for Valentine’s Day: chocolates; flowers, jewelry, any surprises? … would love to hear from you.

I spent majority of last night, sweating it out in the kitchen making handmade choccies for my Valentine. It was tough work, but I have to admit, they came out great : )

Yes Stu my hubby got one of the biggest. He doesn’t buy me anything for the day so I went out and bought a beautiful and expensive bracelet for myself.

He will get his surprise very soon because I charged it to his credit card.

As for the same winners my friend, Im afraid that u will get that whatever site u play on, I have played on just about all of them at one time or another and have yet to come across one that doesnt have the same regular winners, the trouble is that there are so many players these days that just set their computer to auto and max out on all the games, and then just walk away from comp while they do other things, especially the fixed pots, they no longer play the game for the joy of playing bingo, they in it just for the money unfortunately, part of todays society I guess.
Personally, I prefer to stick to my couple of tiks and enjoy the game for what it is, a game of luck and chance my friend.

Today I got the newsletter - which shows the top 5 winners in 3 categories.
Was this needed?
I am sure many will bite my head off now, but to be honest I did not need to see how many THOUSANDS some of the players are winning in a period of 20 days when I and many like me are lucky if they do not need to deposit every day to play.
I KNOW that it comes down to luck and obviously although they have won thousands they have to spend to play too - but I have to be totally honest here - and please note that this is NOT personal to ANY one winner - it really makes me wonder is there any point playing on here?>??
When I do play bingo (not the slots and poker - don’t play those) I see for myself the regular winners and yes i wish it was me - who wouldn’t - but to actually see in black and white that they have all these winnings makes it obvious that some players are not in the same league as most of us.
I would be really grateful if you DID NOT print these winnings again - as I am sure the winners are too.
It is probably embarrassing for them and frustrating for me/us (us as in the people who play loads and have never known what it is to cash out)
I am sure I will offend many- not my intention at all, but this really did not make my morning when I saw the amounts that were won, when i am thinking shall i deposit yet again?

Thanks for the reply - the wording on the newsletter stated it was for a month.
To be honest it is not the point - most players on this site and others, are never going to win like that, and normally nobody expects to (although we always live in hope!!!)
But the newsletter implied it was a month’s winnings - and as I said in my first posting about this - I am not convinced that the winner’s want to have their winnings broadcast either.
Especially as apparently it turns out after speaking to some of the winners, that they claim they have never won that much - accumulated since the start or in a month.
Anyway it is not the end of the world - I also said before it will not mention how much they had to spend - as you pointed out too.
It really just was not something I particularly wanted to read or know as a few others agree too, after they spoke about it in chat.
WTG Bah on managing to sort it out last night - I too saw you win about £80 in pound.
Let us hope that shazz and wino can get back in too.

I have copied the above statement which is on the blog homepage because I have seen so many comments from members who are having problems with not being able to get connected etc.

Now it says we will discuss but I cannot seen any replies from either you or a member of the office staff regarding this problems

Some people have been told its because they are with AOL but so am I and have had no problems getting onto site. It looks to be frustrating people greatly and Im sure that frustration is compounded when they are not being communicated with.

Please can you help with this. We have seen very little of you recently on this blog, I know you have other committments but communication was the point of it all.
