Our server is called Mojo. Our Mascot is called Skippy. But we think it’s a bit of a shame that our bingo callers don’t have a name. Well, obviously, they’ve got real names but we want BINGO names. That’s why we’ve arranged this little contest.

This day couldn’t come sooner – we’re getting our new and more powerful server “Mojo” ready for you and equipping him with a spanking new version of the BingoMania.co.uk games. Don’t worry, all the things you love about BingoMania will remain the same.
At approx. 1pm today (Thursday, Nov. 15th) our tech team will start getting Mojo primed up and we should have him live in at least 8hours.
During this time, unfortunately our games will not be available. But as soon as we’re back up, the fun and excitement will continue:

Skippy’s been our mascot since 1998, when the Web was still very young and the BingoMania.com caller used to skip calls. Guess that’s why we called him Skippy. Although he’s not a bush kangaroo.
But since we crossed the pond and opened BingoMania.co.uk, Skippy has been quiet. So, let’s change that. He’s lovable, cute, cuddly and an interesting shade of pink. We think you’ll enjoy having him around.

Quick update on the “Little Rusty” and his successor “Mojo” – tomorrow-(Thursday, November 8th)-a sample of our players have been randomly selected to help test the new server.
If the test goes well on Thursday, then in the next week or so we hope to wave goodbye to Little Rusty and welcome Mojo as the new Bingomania server . At which time we will kick off the celebration with free games as promised for all of our loyal members.

I had a post all in mind for today: easy tips to give your bingo environment a makeover. But my plans changes when a friend emailed me a fab video from YouTube – this video is about a talking parrot. But not just any Parrot - a genius. I’ll leave it at that and let you enjoy the video.
I wonder if this parrot could be trained to be our bingo caller? : )
