We have had a lot of great entries again this year in a contest that has had more comebacks than The Rolling Stones. After much deliberation, mulled wine and mince pies we have finally been able to decide the winners of this year’s Christmas Name Contest.
In the category Creative/Original, first prize of £50 cash goes to the alphabetically challenged THE 1ST NO L. Second place and £25 cash goes to the easily satisfied YULETIDEMEOVER and the third prize of £10 cash goes to the seasonal and nawty (at least she’s honest) Im sNOangel.
Some of the names submitted this year gave us more laughs than The Two Ronnie’s Christmas Special. In the category Outrageously Funny, first prize of £50 cash goes to Sinderella’s best mate, fairy gobmuvva. Second place and £25 cash goes to the meteorologically astute gizaREINmacDEER and the third prize of £10 cash goes to the colourful rudyrednose.
Skippy got all excited when he heard that the final category to be judged was Spirit of Christmas until we told him that we didn’t mean he would be sampling drinks. Even with no House Party or Mr Blobby in sight, first place and £50 cash goes to Papa Noel. Second place and £25 cash (which will pay for plenty of chapstick) goes to MisLToe and the third prize of £10 cash goes to what we wish for most of all, happyxmas2uall.
Well done to all our winners and if you didn’t quite make it into the top rankings this year, we hope that you will enjoy the little gift which Skippy Claus leaves in your stockings tonight.

Every month each of our GMs will be nominating players for inclusion in Skippy’s Monthly Honours List. Nominations will be made on the basis of ‘an outstanding contribution to chat’ for players who have demonstrated consistent friendliness, politeness, patience and community spirit. The nominations will then go before His Imperial Highness’s loyal advisors, who will consider all the nominees before finishing the champagne and truffles choosing one player to receive the prestigious OBME – the Order of the BingoMania Empire.
Our monthly OBME winner will be featured on the blog and the newsletter, and will be presented with £50 of BBs from the Ancient and Honourable Bearer of the Imperial Sack. They will also be entitled to use the letters OBME after their name in chat and on the blog.

Reports have been coming in to the authorities in the south of England about a very loud scream that was heard right throughout the Home Counties at ten to five in the evening on Tuesday 27th May. Police have now called off their search when we told them there was no need for alarm. It was just JANNY08 winning the Pound jackpot. Big creamy congratulations to Janny for scooping up the super-tasty Pound jackpot.
