The severe floods have left thousands of people without water and electricity. I’m not sure how many of our members have been affected by the recent record breaking floods that have hit parts of the UK, but our prayers and thoughts are with them.

   I have not suffered from any floods, but I know a few have and my blessings and thoughts are with these friends of mine, hope it all gets sorted out quickly and hopefully not all is lost.

   I was affected by the floods thats why I have not been on as regular as I used to be. I live about 4 minutes from the river dearne that bust its banks and we all got hit. You might have seen me on the news lol - (not a pretty site at 8 in the morning). They were rescuing old folk out of the re houses in dingys!. I have lived in this area all my life and never have we been affected like this so after staying at my mums for what seems like forever we are now getting to a stage where everything is dried out and the cleaning up can be done - wish me luck!!. Will be back on more when I get settled back at home properly. (Just get to have a crafty game when my mum’s not looking lol), dont think the kids will ever ant to come home - bought them a trampoline with some winning on here and they seem to think it lives at grandmas house!.
